For all our flooring systems, we use pressure-treated 2x6 lumber, spaced 16 inches on center. This construction method ensures maximum support, durability, and long-term performance. Our flooring is capable of supporting up to 52 pounds per square foot under heavy use which it’s part of our commitment to providing a solid, reliable foundation you can count on.
Reinforced for Larger Sheds: Any shed over 10' × 16' comes standard with two (2) 4×4 pressure-treated skids installed beneath the floor frame, delivering superior strength, unmatched stability, and long-term durability.

lp's exclusive smartguard process
Both our floors and LP siding are treated with an advanced formula of adhesive resins, water-resistant waxes and zinc borate, after which a water-resistant, resin saturated overlay is bonded to the product. This process creates a highly durable engineered wood product that withstands harsh weather conditions, insects, and fungal decay.
