WARRANTY

Imperial Custom Sheds warranties that our sheds are free of structural damage and/or material defects for 5 years (except as specified below) as owned by the original purchaser from date of purchase. This Limited Warranty is non-transferable. This warranty applies to our sheds under normal use, defined as residential usage only, and is subject to the conditions and limitations herein listed.

Imperial Custom Sheds liability under this warranty shall be limited to the replacement of the non-conforming goods or parts, at the discretion of Imperial Custom Sheds. Claimants may receive replacement part(s) of any material determined to be defective. (Replacement parts & labor are free of charge during the warranty period of 5 years).

Hardware used in production or assembly of Imperial Custom Sheds sheds is warranted to not break for five (5) years of residential use.

Proper maintenance and preservation of the product is required to support this warranty. Negligence or improper maintenance is cause for refusal of claim and nullification of this warranty.

EXCLUSIONS:

This warranty covers only those manufacturing and material defects specified herein and does not include defects attributable to abnormal use, improper or negligent maintenance, normal wear and tear effects, normal weathering and “checking” of wood or vinyl used.

This warranty does not cover defects caused by accident, fire, flood, corrosive atmospheres, environmental conditions (such as mildew, mold, etc.), vandalism, riot or civil disorder, ground settlement, destruction by human or animal, stresses resulting from localized heat, or other occurrences beyond normal control.

This warranty does not cover damage caused by natural disasters, including but not limited to hurricanes, tornadoes, floods, earthquakes, or other acts of nature.

Any attempt to move, relocate, alter, or modify the shed after installation will immediately void this warranty. Imperial Custom Sheds assumes no responsibility for any damage, structural failure, or other issues that may arise as a result of relocating or modifying the shed after the original installation.

Harmful solvents that are used to clean the structure or are applied to components. No outside material or aftermarket products applied to the structure will be covered under this warranty.

Abnormal use of products.

Post-delivery labor, transportation or assembly costs.

Imperial Custom Sheds shall not be responsible for any incidental or consequential damages which may result from actions in breach of this warranty.

WARRANTY TERMS

We stand behind every shed we build. Your shed is covered by a 5-year limited warranty that includes parts and labor for defects in materials, workmanship, or structure.

Who This Warranty Covers

This warranty applies only to the original purchaser and is non-transferable. It covers sheds used for normal residential purposes, such as storing garden tools, bikes, or small equipment. Heavy commercial use or storage of hazardous materials is not covered.

What’s Covered

During the 5-year warranty period, we will repair or replace at no cost any of the following if found defective:

Structural framing defects
Defective siding or roofing materials
Hardware failure
Installation workmanship

All replacement parts and labor are included for 5 years from the date of purchase.

What’s Not Covered

This warranty does not cover:

Natural wear and tear, weathering, or checking of wood or vinyl
Damage from fire, flood, natural disasters (hurricanes, tornadoes, earthquakes), or acts of nature
Accidents, vandalism, riots, or civil disturbances
Damage caused by relocation, modification, or unauthorized alterations
Negligence, improper maintenance, or use of harmful chemicals/solvents
Environmental conditions such as mold or mildew
Transportation, post-delivery labor, or assembly costs
Any incidental or consequential damages

Maintenance Requirements

Proper maintenance is required to support this warranty. Negligence may void coverage. Recommended maintenance includes:

Cleaning the shed regularly
Clearing debris from the roof and around the base
Inspecting for damage at least once per year
